Our Camelina Oil Production

We only buy our flaxed yolk seeds in Germany from a select organic farmer. In line with our philosophy, we do not purchase our seeds from mass production. We believe in supporting small businesses.

Our seeds are cold-pressed below 37°C. The seeds are not heated before pressing. This is what makes our oil a tasty and high-quality oil as valuable ingredients are destroyed above 40 degrees.

Following the press we store the oils in metal containers for approx. 1 week to ensure the highest quality oil is collected. Our oils are bottled unfiltered to ensure the least amount of exposure to oxygen.

The Camelina Plant

The camelina plant is a cruciferous vegetable and grows up to 1.20m high
